10,000 POUNDS LOST!!!!!

Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to our pounds lost at Albany County Chiropractic Center! This week our clients reached major milestones! The Laramie clinic has officially lost over 10,000 pounds as of today! Our Saratoga clinic also has done amazing by losing over 1,000 pounds since January! Congratulations to everyone who has traveled this journey with us, we are so proud of all of you! Keep up the hard work! We will be celebrating all of your amazing accomplishments this month.

RECIPES THAT WERE SUBMITTED DURING OUR LEEK SOUP RECIPE CONTEST

HAMBURGER HELPER

- 1 tsp Olive Oil
-1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 4oz. of cooked extra-lean ground hamburger (or ground turkey)
- 1 cup of cauliflower mash (easier if premade)
-1.5 cups of sliced mushrooms
-1/4 tsp Real Salt
Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning (about 1 tsp., mor or less to taste)
1 packet of Ideal Protein Leek Soup Mix
4-6 oz. Water
Cholula Hot Sauce to taste (optional)
 
Saute the garlic in olive oil. Stir in the hamburger, cauliflower, mushrooms, salt, and Mrs. Dash. Cook on medium heat until mushrooms are donw, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the leek soup powder to coat the mixture, add water slowly to preferred consistency, and heat through.
 
Remove and add hot sauce to taste.
 
 
 
Deep Dish Taco Pizza

1 1/2 C. boiled or steamed broccoli and cauliflower
 1 egg
1 tsp Oregano
1-2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1-2 tsp taco seasoning
1/3 C. cooked hamburger
3 T. diced tomatoes
3 T. diced green pepper
2 T. diced onions (added after pizza is done)
Lots of shredded or chopped lettuc
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp real salt for crust
1 Packet IP Leek Soup Mix
1/4 C. low carb/sugar marinara or tomato sauce
 
Preheat ovent to 425 degrees.
Mash broccoli and cauliflower with potato masher or in a food processor.  Add IP Leek Soup Mix, egg, salt, half of italian seasoning, and oregano in a bowl with brocc/cauliflower and mix. Spray 10" round cake pan with olive oil and spread mixture in pan. Mix taco seasoning in marinara sauce and spread on top of crust. Chop green pepper and mix with olive oil in a bowl and add to pizza. Add hamburger and bake for 24 minutes or until pizza is golden brown. Add raw onions (optional.), lettuce and tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and crushed red pepper. ENJOY!!! (Can omit the hamburger and make a vegeterian taco pizza.) Can also just use cauliflower for the crust. Make it your own!
 
 
 
Leek Soup and Then Some Quiche

1/4 C. dieced Green Bell Pepper
1/4 C. diced Red Bell Pepper
1/4 C. diced Poblano Pepper
1/4 C. diced Tomato
1 C. diced or whole mushrooms
1 Pkg. Ideal Protein Leek Soup Mix
4oz Water
2 Whole Eggs and 3oz Egg Whites for a total of 6oz
2 oz Ground Turkey Burger
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
Pepper and any other seasonings you prefer
Hot Sauce (Optional)
 
Preheat oven to 350*
-Saute all veggies in the olive oil, adding small amounts of water if needed- cook until desired tenderness
-In a bowl, mix together the whole eggs and egg whites, baking powder, sea salt, pepper and any other seasonings.
-Mix in your IP Shaker the Leek Soup Mix with the 4 oz of water, it will be bery thick. Add to the egg mixture and mix well.
-Add in sauteed veggies and turkey burger and mix well.
-Spray a glass baking sheet and pour mixture in and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until cooked through.
-Top with hot cause if desired.
-I used a 2" deep by 5"x8" oval glass baking dish.
- You could use any other veggies you prefer and change amounts of each.
-You could use Beef Burger, Sausage, or no meat at all.
