BACON RANCH CHICKEN OVER BROCCOLI

 

 
 

Ingredients:

 
- 8 ounces of cubed and cooked chicken (cook in skillet with olive oil)
-1/2 cup Walden Farms Bacon Ranch
-1 packet of Ideal Protein Sea Salt and Vinegar chips (crushed)
-Lemon juice and Cumin to taste
- 2 cups broccoli
 

Directions:

 
- In a bowl, mix cooked chicken, Walden Farms Bacon Ranch, cumin and lemon juice.
 
-Place broccoli in baking dish and pour chicken mixture over the top. Sprinkle with crushed Ideal Protein Sea Salt and Vinegar Chips and drizzle with more WF Bacon Ranch, if desired.
 
-Bake in oven for 30-40 mins at 350*

MEATLOAF SKILLET

ACCIDENTAL MEATLOAF SKILLET OVER CAULIFLOWER MASH

 
 
 
 
One day, I was making meatloaf and cauliflower mashed potatoes for my husband and I, I realized our oven was not working properly. I already had my meatloaf mixture mixed up and didn't know what to do! I had to cook it somehow, so I decided to cook it all up in a skillet. After it was cooked, I put the meat over the cauliflower mashed potatoes, and oh my yum! I ended up with a VERY easy, yet delicious meal! We now eat this meal regularly at our house.  
 

Ingredients:

- 1 pound ground burger
-1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup reduced sugar ketchup
-2 Tbls Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 teas Splenda or Stevia
- 1 Ideal Protein Potato Puree Packet
-1 Tbls mustard
- Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
 

Directions:

 
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cook in a skillet as if you are browning burger. Cook until meat is fully cooked. Serve over cauliflower mashed "potatoes."
 

Cauliflower Mashed "Potatoes"

-Steam 1 bag of frozen cauliflower or fresh cauliflower. (When I am in a hurry I empty a bag of frozen cauliflower in a bowl, add 1 tbls water, cover with saran wrap and heat in the microwave for 7 minutes)
-When cauliflower is soft, put in blender or food processor with 1 ounce skim milk, 2 teas olive oil, sea salt, and pepper. Blend until the consistency of mashed potatoes.
 
Makes two servings.

What?! We can have country style gravy?!

Country Style Gravy

1 Head of cauliflower, chopped
1 Packet Ideal Protein Chicken Soup Mix
Sea Salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbls Olive Oil
Reserve 1 cup of water from boiling cauliflower
 
Directions:
-Boil 1 head of chopped cauliflower until tender. (Reserve 1 cup of liquid from boiling.)
- Place all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth.
 
Pour gravy over your choice of meat, eggs, or rutabaga hash browns!

MONTIE'S CHILI RECIPE

MONTIE'S CHILI

Ingredients:

-1 lb hamburger
-2 cups diced tomato
-1 cup Anaheim chili, cleaned and diced
-1 cup bell pepper, diced
-1 Tbls Splenda
-1 Tbls Louisiana Hot Sauce
-1 Tbls Worcestershire Sauce
1/2-1 Cup Water
-Optional: Leeks or green onion
 
Tip: Use as much or little Splenda, hot sauce, and worcestershire sauce as your tastes desire.
 

Directions:

Brown hamburger in a chili pot, add all other ingredients and let simmer for approximately 45 minutes.
 
This makes 2 servings (includes your 8 ounces of meat and 2 cups of veggies for your dinner meal). Also, remember this meal will count as picking off of the occasional list!

Edna's Caramel Apple Tea

Looking for something sweet and satisfying? One of our dedicated clients came up with this recipe that is amazing, and it is perfect for the fall weather that is upon us!
 
 
Steep Cinnamon Apple Spice Tea,then add ~1 Tbls Walden Farms Caramel Syrup, Stir, and ENJOY THIS YUMMY TREAT!
 

STUFFED PORK CHOP

SWEET STUFFED PORK CHOPS

 

Ingredients:
-2 thick pork chops, with a "pocket" cut through the middle
 
Stuffing:
-1/2 of 1 zucchini, diced
-1 leek, diced
-1 rib celery, diced
(Any other veggies that you want to add, diced very small. I actually use my food processor)
- 2 teas Olive Oil
- 1 Ideal Protein Maple Oatmeal Packet
 
Topping:
-2 teas Olive Oil
-1 Tbls Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbls Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
- 2 teas Lemon Juice
 
Directions:
Heat oil over medium. Add diced veggies and sauté until tender.  While veggies are cooking mix all topping ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside. Once veggies are cooked, add DRY packet of Ideal Protein Maple Oatmeal and mix until oatmeal is moistened by veggies and oil.
 
Stuff pork chops with stuffing and place in a glass baking dish. Pour topping over pork chops. Cook at 375 until pork is cooked all the way through and no longer pink.
 
Serve with cauliflower mashed potatoes. YUM!
 
 



Brownies!

Choco-Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:
-3 eggs beaten slightly
- 1 Tbls Olive oil
-2 Tbls Splenda
-1/4 C. Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup
-4 Milk or Dark Chocolate Pudding Ideal Protein Packets
-2 Ideal Protein Chocolate Pancake Packets
-3 teas baking powder
-1/2-1 Cup Water
-1/2 teas Sea Salt
-OPTIONAL: Can also add 1 cup of shredded zucchini for moisture and to get your veggies in!
 
Mix all ingredients together adding water and Ideal Protein packets last, add water until mixture is like cake batter. Once thoroughly mixed, spread into an olive oil sprayed 9x13 pan. Bake at 350* for approximately 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

10,000 POUNDS LOST!!!!!

Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to our pounds lost at Albany County Chiropractic Center! This week our clients reached major milestones! The Laramie clinic has officially lost over 10,000 pounds as of today! Our Saratoga clinic also has done amazing by losing over 1,000 pounds since January! Congratulations to everyone who has traveled this journey with us, we are so proud of all of you! Keep up the hard work! We will be celebrating all of your amazing accomplishments this month.

RECIPES THAT WERE SUBMITTED DURING OUR LEEK SOUP RECIPE CONTEST

HAMBURGER HELPER

- 1 tsp Olive Oil
-1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 4oz. of cooked extra-lean ground hamburger (or ground turkey)
- 1 cup of cauliflower mash (easier if premade)
-1.5 cups of sliced mushrooms
-1/4 tsp Real Salt
Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning (about 1 tsp., mor or less to taste)
1 packet of Ideal Protein Leek Soup Mix
4-6 oz. Water
Cholula Hot Sauce to taste (optional)
 
Saute the garlic in olive oil. Stir in the hamburger, cauliflower, mushrooms, salt, and Mrs. Dash. Cook on medium heat until mushrooms are donw, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the leek soup powder to coat the mixture, add water slowly to preferred consistency, and heat through.
 
Remove and add hot sauce to taste.
 
 
 
Deep Dish Taco Pizza

1 1/2 C. boiled or steamed broccoli and cauliflower
 1 egg
1 tsp Oregano
1-2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1-2 tsp taco seasoning
1/3 C. cooked hamburger
3 T. diced tomatoes
3 T. diced green pepper
2 T. diced onions (added after pizza is done)
Lots of shredded or chopped lettuc
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp real salt for crust
1 Packet IP Leek Soup Mix
1/4 C. low carb/sugar marinara or tomato sauce
 
Preheat ovent to 425 degrees.
Mash broccoli and cauliflower with potato masher or in a food processor.  Add IP Leek Soup Mix, egg, salt, half of italian seasoning, and oregano in a bowl with brocc/cauliflower and mix. Spray 10" round cake pan with olive oil and spread mixture in pan. Mix taco seasoning in marinara sauce and spread on top of crust. Chop green pepper and mix with olive oil in a bowl and add to pizza. Add hamburger and bake for 24 minutes or until pizza is golden brown. Add raw onions (optional.), lettuce and tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and crushed red pepper. ENJOY!!! (Can omit the hamburger and make a vegeterian taco pizza.) Can also just use cauliflower for the crust. Make it your own!
 
 
 
Leek Soup and Then Some Quiche

1/4 C. dieced Green Bell Pepper
1/4 C. diced Red Bell Pepper
1/4 C. diced Poblano Pepper
1/4 C. diced Tomato
1 C. diced or whole mushrooms
1 Pkg. Ideal Protein Leek Soup Mix
4oz Water
2 Whole Eggs and 3oz Egg Whites for a total of 6oz
2 oz Ground Turkey Burger
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
Pepper and any other seasonings you prefer
Hot Sauce (Optional)
 
Preheat oven to 350*
-Saute all veggies in the olive oil, adding small amounts of water if needed- cook until desired tenderness
-In a bowl, mix together the whole eggs and egg whites, baking powder, sea salt, pepper and any other seasonings.
-Mix in your IP Shaker the Leek Soup Mix with the 4 oz of water, it will be bery thick. Add to the egg mixture and mix well.
-Add in sauteed veggies and turkey burger and mix well.
-Spray a glass baking sheet and pour mixture in and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until cooked through.
-Top with hot cause if desired.
-I used a 2" deep by 5"x8" oval glass baking dish.
- You could use any other veggies you prefer and change amounts of each.
-You could use Beef Burger, Sausage, or no meat at all.

Strawberry Dessert


-2 Ideal Protein Strawberry Pudding Packets
-1 Ideal Protein Crepe/Pancake Packet
-½ cup of egg whites
-1 teas extract (I like to use orange and/or vanilla, but you can use any flavor)
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-¼ Cup of WF Strawberry Syrup
-1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
-1/8 teas Sea Salt
-2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
-1/2 cup of water




Directions:
Beat egg whites until frothy. Add all other ingredients, adding water very last.
Mix until smooth. Pour into a sprayed 8x8 cake pan. Bake at 350degrees for 20-30 minutes.

Top dessert with a Walden Farms Syrup or Fruit Spread.

*Any Ideal Protein Pudding flavor can be used in this recipe. *

*Blueberry Pudding with WF Blueberry Syrup

Miranda's Mango Green Drink

Ingredients:
1/2 -1 Cucumber peeled and chopped up
1 Large handful of fresh spinach
1 Ideal Protein Premade Mango Drink


Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Enjoy! Doesn't get much easier than drinking your vegetables!

Oven Roasted Vegetables

Phases 1-4
1 medium zucchini, sliced
1 medium green pepper, diced
1 pound fresh asparagus, cut into pieces
Fresh mushrooms
3 Tablespoons olive oil
Sea Salt and pepper, or other seasonings

Heat oven to 450 degrees.  Place all ingredients in a bowl with a lid; toss to coat.  Place vegetables in a large roasting pan in a single layer.  Bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until veggies are lightly browned and tender.

2 cup servings:

170 calories
5 grams protein
15 grams carbohydrates

Shepherd's Pie:

1. Cook one whole cauliflower until soft enough to mash.
2. Make 1 package of your favorite Ideal Protein soup with only 100 ml of water.
3. Pour soup over cauliflower and blend or mash really well. Set aside.
4. In a skillet, brown 1 lb. of lean ground Turkey or beef. Add the following:
3 garlic cloves
1/2 cup of leeks
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp rosemary
1 small, fresh tomato – diced
5. Cook turkey or beef mixture until brown.
6. Place turkey or beef mixture in the bottom of a baking pan or a casserole dish and press down firmly.
7. Place cauliflower mixture on top of the turkey or beef mixture and press down firmly.
8. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes

Phase 1 Pizza Recipe

BBQ CHICKEN AND TURKEY BACON PIZZA

Crust Ingredients:

-1 Egg White (beaten slightly)

-1 teas Olive Oil

-1 teas Minced Garlic

-¼ teas Baking Powder

-1/8 teas Baking Soda

-1 packet of Stevia/Splenda

-½ teas Oregano

-½ teas Italian Seasoning

-1 packet IDEAL PROTEIN Potato Puree

-1 packet IDEAL PROTEIN Vegetable Chili

-½ cup of water

 

 


Toppings:

-WALDEN FARMS Hickory Smoked BBQ Sauce

-2 Chicken breasts boiled and shredded

-4 Pieces of turkey bacon (cooked and chopped)

-Sliced bell peppers and mushrooms( and any other select vegetables that you would like to add) sautéed in grape seed extract oil

-Raw onion

 
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix all crust ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly mixed.
Pour and spread out 2 different crusts onto a sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
While crusts are baking, toss shredded chicken with 1 cup of WF Hickory BBQ sauce.
Remove crusts from oven and add ½ of the toppings to each pizza (except the onion). Place back in the oven and broil on high for approximately 3-5 minutes (watch to make sure it doesn’t burn!)
Take out of oven, add onion, slice with a pizza cutter and ENJOY!
 
Makes 2 servings.  Each serving contains 8 Net Carbohydrates
