Shepherd's Pie:

1. Cook one whole cauliflower until soft enough to mash.
2. Make 1 package of your favorite Ideal Protein soup with only 100 ml of water.
3. Pour soup over cauliflower and blend or mash really well. Set aside.
4. In a skillet, brown 1 lb. of lean ground Turkey or beef. Add the following:
3 garlic cloves
1/2 cup of leeks
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp rosemary
1 small, fresh tomato – diced
5. Cook turkey or beef mixture until brown.
6. Place turkey or beef mixture in the bottom of a baking pan or a casserole dish and press down firmly.
7. Place cauliflower mixture on top of the turkey or beef mixture and press down firmly.
8. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes

Phase 1 Pizza Recipe

BBQ CHICKEN AND TURKEY BACON PIZZA

Crust Ingredients:

-1 Egg White (beaten slightly)

-1 teas Olive Oil

-1 teas Minced Garlic

-¼ teas Baking Powder

-1/8 teas Baking Soda

-1 packet of Stevia/Splenda

-½ teas Oregano

-½ teas Italian Seasoning

-1 packet IDEAL PROTEIN Potato Puree

-1 packet IDEAL PROTEIN Vegetable Chili

-½ cup of water

 

 


Toppings:

-WALDEN FARMS Hickory Smoked BBQ Sauce

-2 Chicken breasts boiled and shredded

-4 Pieces of turkey bacon (cooked and chopped)

-Sliced bell peppers and mushrooms( and any other select vegetables that you would like to add) sautéed in grape seed extract oil

-Raw onion

 
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix all crust ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly mixed.
Pour and spread out 2 different crusts onto a sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
While crusts are baking, toss shredded chicken with 1 cup of WF Hickory BBQ sauce.
Remove crusts from oven and add ½ of the toppings to each pizza (except the onion). Place back in the oven and broil on high for approximately 3-5 minutes (watch to make sure it doesn’t burn!)
Take out of oven, add onion, slice with a pizza cutter and ENJOY!
 
Makes 2 servings.  Each serving contains 8 Net Carbohydrates

Kaliegh's Shrimp Fried Cauliflower


Ingredients
2 cups Cauliflower Rice (Ground up in food processor)
½ cup select veggies
1 egg
3 oz. cooked shrimp w/out tail
3-4 Tbsp olive oil
Garlic power
Real Salt
Ground Pepper
Light Soy Sauce

Directions:
Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium. When oil is warm, add cauliflower. Sautee until cauliflower is golden brown in color. Slightly beat egg and add to cauliflower, and cook until egg is done. Add select vegetables and cooked shrimp.  Add seasons and soy sauce to your liking. ENJOY!

Wildberry Muffins

 Ingredients:
-1 Package of Ideal Protein Crispy Cereal
- 1 Package of Ideal Protein Wildberry Yogurt Drink Mix
- 2 Egg Whites, beaten slightly
- ½ Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon Splenda/Stevia
- 4 Teaspoons Olive Oil
- 1 Teas of Baking Powder
- 3 Tablespoons of Water
Directions:
-          Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a standard sized muffin tin with olive oil spray.
-          Before opening packet, crush IP Crispy Cereal until fine (powder consistency.)
-          In a medium bowl, mix beaten eggs, ground cinnamon, Splenda/Stevia, olive oil, and baking powder. Once mixed, add in Wildberry Yogurt and Crispy Cereal. Slowly mix in water.
-          Spoon mixed-up batter into muffin tins. (Makes 5 muffins.) If there are empty muffin cups in your tin, fill ¼ of the way with water to allow other muffins to bake evenly.
-          Bake muffins for 10-12 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Makes 5 muffins
Carbohydrates per muffin: 3.2g
Dietary Fiber per muffin: 0.1g
Calories per muffin: 84
Total Fat per muffin: 3.8g

Ingredients:
-1 ½ Cups Cauliflower Rice (Cauliflower ground up in a blender or food processor)
-4-5 Tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk
-1-2 Tablespoons of WALDEN FARMS Maple Pancake Syrup
-1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Directions:
-Place cauliflower rice in a microwaveable bowl and cover with saran wrap and microwave for 3 minutes.
-Remove saran wrap and stir in remaining ingredients. Place bowl back in the microwave UNCOVERED and microwave for 1 more minute. Stir and enjoy a hot cereal for breakfast while getting in your vegetables!!
